We apply principles of color coordination when it comes to decorating our rooms, businesses, schools and homes, but have you ever thought to apply it to your study habits? Using color can help you with studying and organization in many different ways.  When you use consistent color coding for your book covers, folders and notepads, you create a particular feeling about that subject and are able to promptly identify particular subjects. For example, when I was in school, I always chose green for my science classes. It reminded me of earth, biology and all things scientific. I coordinated matching notebooks and folders to keep everything organized by subject.

When we are infants, we believe that the world revolves around us. It isn’t until we get a bit older and learn how to be patient and have mastered delayed gratification somewhat that we can learn how to take turns. Taking turns and practicing delayed gratification is a critical skill set in life.
